Mission Statement

HKCBA's mission is to help its members conduct business between Canada and Hong Kong and encourage Canadian companies to utilize Hong Kong as their business �Smart Link� to China and the rest of the world. It also facilitates business relationships amongst its membership in Canada.

Brief Overview on HKCBA

The HKCBA, established in 1984, is one of the largest bilateral trade associations in Canada with over 1,300 members in ten cities across Canada. Hong Kong experienced a number of "ups" and "downs" since the HKCBA was established. The Year 2007 was the 10th anniversary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China (HKSAR). In the last two years, the Hong Kong economy has improved significantly. With its proximity to Mainland China and expertise in financial and other services and international business, Hong Kong continues to play a key role for China's economic expansion.

HKCBA is the only member in Canada of the Federation of Hong Kong Businss Association Worldwide (FHKBAW), which contains a unique network of 33 similar trade groups in 24 countries (with over 10,000 members) in North and South America, Europe and Asia. HKCBA is also strongly networked with our Hong Kong Family.
