IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM TREASURER
Dear Valued Members,
Our Board of Directors has approved an increase in annual membership dues for the Vancouver Section effective for renewals and new memberships from July 1, 2008 for corporate members to $350 per annum from the current $200 per annum and for individuals to $130 from the current $110 per annum. To compensate for this increase we will be adding an additional complimentary member for the corporate memberships from the current 3 to 4.
This is the first membership due increase the HKCBA Vancouver has enacted this decade to offset inflation and miscellaneous costs that have increased over this period, and at the same time to offset net operating deficits incurred by the association over the last several years. Further, you will be pleased to note that we have conducted a comprehensive benchmarking analysis and are confident that the membership fees are highly competitive with other business associations.
We very much look forward to seeing your continued support firmly establishing the HKCBA as the preeminent business networking organization between Canada and Asia.
Kindest regards, Jason Tse, Treasurer and Communications Chair of the HKCBA Vancouver
