About HKCBA

The HKCBA, established in 1984, is distinguished as one of the largest bilateral trade associations in Canada with over 1,500 members in eight major cities across Canada (Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Atlantic).  HKCBA also has representatives in Hong Kong, Regina, Saskatchewan and London, Ontario. 

With its proximity to Mainland China and expertise in financial and other services and international business, Hong Kong continues to play a key role for China's economic expansion.

HKCBA is the only member in Canada of the Federation of Hong Kong Businss Association Worldwide (FHKBAW), which contains a unique network of over 32 other similar trade groups in 24 countries (with over 10,000 members) in North and South America, Europe and Asia.  HKCBA is also strongly networked with our Hong Kong Family - Federation of Hong Kong Business Associations Worldwide, Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office (Canada), Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Hong Kong Tourism Board, Invest Hong Kong, Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, and Cathay Pacific Airways.

Mission Statement

HKCBA's mission is to help its members conduct business between Canada and Hong Kong and encourage Canadian companies to utilize Hong Kong as their business “Smart Link” to China and the rest of the world. It also facilitates business relationships amongst its membership in Canada.

Our HKCBA exists to:

• be an important and relevant business participant in Canada, Hong Kong, China, and South East Asia
• strengthen our HK-based business relationships;
• increase the value delivered to our members;
